REX and IAN

Hey everyone! We’re two guys who met in New York City and recently moved to San Francisco. We started this blog as platform to share, discuss, and raise awareness about issues important to us.

Run for Something

Run for Something

In spring 2017, our good friend Reed Shaw cheered Rex on during the Boston Marathon. Rex proudly ran the race for The Ali Forney Center, the nation’s largest shelter for LGBTQ homeless youth (we’ve written about the AFC a few times before!).

Now it’s time for us to cheer Reed on in his first ever marathon. Reed is running the California International Marathon this December for Run for Something, an organization that recruits and supports talented and passionate young people to run for down-ballot offices.

Run for Something’s work is critical—particularly in the lead up to the midterm elections. Change starts with young people in office, and change starts at the local level.

Every month, August through November, Reed will be donating $2.20 for each training mile he runs ($2.018 rounded up!). Each of his donations will be matched.

Please consider supporting Reed’s race and Run for Something here! We’ll be cheering this December.
