REX and IAN

Hey everyone! We’re two guys who met in New York City and recently moved to San Francisco. We started this blog as platform to share, discuss, and raise awareness about issues important to us.

Treadmill Challenge to #OutrunHomelessness

Treadmill Challenge to #OutrunHomelessness

After months of planning, Back on My Feet held its annual Treadmill Challenge fundraiser here in San Francisco this week. Ten companies rented out ten treadmills for four hours each, bringing passionate volunteers to run in 15- and 30-minute slots. Rex’s company rented a treadmill and employees from across the firm put on their running shoes for a jog or walk.

Overall, we were able to raise $23,000 for Back on My Feet!

Check out the Back on My Feet website for events in your community; if you’re here in SF, check out our local chapter’s website to stay up-to-date on updates and opportunities to be involved.

We’re always in need of more volunteers to come out for our morning runs! If you’re interested, please join Team SoMa or Team Tenderloin in SF or join your local chapter’s team. We’d love to see you out there!
