Help Clean Up Land's End
Land's End is a rocky and windswept shoreline at the mouth of the Golden Gate, providing spectacular views of the Bridge and the Pacific. It's one of our favorite trails to hike and run on, and its become an integral part of San Francisco.
On June 2nd (rescheduled from April 7th due to rain), some members of the San Francisco community are getting together to help weed and clean up Land's End.
The Golden Gate National Parks Conservancy is making an event out of it! They're encouraging volunteers to wear their best Hawaiian or island-style attire to spend a day volunteering, and then "kicking back" with a BBQ and drinks.
This is a great opportunity to get outdoors, help preserve one of the most beautiful parts of San Francisco, and meet people from across the Bay Area.
